Frances Amelia Yates
Frances Amelia Yates membro del Warburg Institute di Londra, è stata una delle più importanti studiose inglesi del Rinascimento e di Giordano Bruno. Tra le sue opere: The art of memory (1966), Giordano Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition (1964), The Rosicrucian Enlightenment (1971), Shakespeare’s last plays (1975), The Valois Tapestries (1959), Astrea: The Imperial Theme in the Sixteenth Century (1975), molte delle quali tradotte in italiano. È scomparsa nel 1981.
